First Children Services is currently seeking a Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to join our team! We proudly supported our focus on education in a new partnership with Capella University, where our employees can take advantage of free CEUs and certificates.

Day to day primary functions:

Work 1:1 with client in independent and group settings
Read and implement individualized treatment plans
Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner
Support healthy communication, social and behavioral skills
Provide interactive therapeutic support to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors
Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive behavioral outcomes

What we require from you:

Minimum of a high school diploma and willingness to complete the RBT curriculum and get certified
1 year minimum of working with children
1 year of working in a direct care human services profession preferred but not required
Comfortable with using technology for daily documentation
Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
Willingness to accept and implement feedback
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and run during shift
