The Community Navigator will be responsible for the facilitation of peer-led interventions being tested by the Temple University Collaborative on Community Inclusion. This is a full-time position.

Essential functions: Conduct assessments; Co-develop support plans with individual clients; Facilitate intervention activities, and document consumer outcomes; Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:
Certified as a Peer Support Specialist and clinical experience supporting community participation for individuals with serious mental illnesses.

Required Skills & Abilities:
*Skills in implementing client-driven services.
*Ability and comfort using Philadelphia public transportation (SEPTA) and ride a bike in an urban setting
*Ability to support adults with serious mental illnesses in independent use of community resources.
*Comfort delivering treatment services in the Philadelphia community.
*Interest in rehabilitation research.
*Ability to work in a team environment with strong written and oral communication skills.
*Ability to work independently.
*Ability to operate all standard office equipment and software including MS Office.
*Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations of students, faculty, staff, consumers, and mental health providers.
*Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and planning.
