Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute (PPI) provides high quality behavioral health services to the residents of Central PA and surrounding regions. We create specialized mental health treatment programs for children, adolescents, adults, and mature adults in our inpatient hospital and partial and outpatient programs. PPI treats all forms of mental health disorders, including addictions. The Intensive Case Manager will assist clients enrolled in the Opioid Treatment Program with accessing community-based resources, housing, and employment; make appropriate referrals and perform general case management and counseling. One year as a Drug and Alcohol Case Management Specialist Trainee. Or: A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Dependency, Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Nursing or a related field; and one-year direct service experience performing counseling or case management work in alcohol or other drug treatment setting. Or: A bachelor’s degree which includes or is supplemented by successful completion of 18 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, criminal justice or other related social sciences; and one-year direct service experience performing counseling or case management work in alcohol or other drug treatment setting. Or: Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Must be flexible and available to travel to other office locations for coverage as needed. Basic computer skills required.
